Renso Gomez Jimenez

​​Renso Gomez Jimenez was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and has developed a passion for story telling through digital illustration during his career. Renso's digital artwork focuses on Concept Art, Character Design and Narrative Illustration while his traditional practice depicts his interest in landscapes and vehicles through the creation of original oil paintings.

Renso graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2020 with his Master of Fine Arts in Illustration and he also attended California State University, San Bernardino where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. In addition, Renso attended Riverside City College where he earned two associate degrees in fine and applied arts and previously attended specialized courses at Art Center College of Art and Design in order to develop his understanding of product and transportation design.

Renso’s interest in story telling and design stems from his interest in literature and film. He believes that his interest in concept art is a direct outcome of growing up in a tough neighborhood. Artwork was an escape from the troubles of the outside world.

Renso has also taught numerous courses at California Baptist University, California State University Fullerton, Laguna College of Art and Design, Santa Ana College and Orange County School of the Arts
